Getting a mortgage approved quickly requires
your involvement. Bringing these important documents with you to your meeting to

- Sales contract on the purchase of your new
home, If applicable
- Paystubs for last 30 days showing YTD
earnings, name and social security #
- Last two years of W-2s
- Most recent two years tax returns with all
schedules
- Year-to-date P&L statement and current balance
sheet, if self-employed
- Most recent 3 months bank statements on all
checking, savings, CDs, IRA accounts etc.
- Current landlord's name & address and 12
months cancelled rent checks
- Copy of sales contract, if you are selling
your present home
- Complete divorce papers, if you pay/receive
child support or alimony
- Relocation agreement, if you are being
transferred into this area
- Bankruptcy papers, including discharge papers,
if applicable
- Award letter and copy of most recent check, if
you receive Social Security/retirement etc.
- Name and phone number of realtor and attorney
- A check for the appraisal and credit report
